Application of GSK RB08 Robot on Punching Automation Production Line of Guangzhou Home Appliance Company
Customer Requirement:
- The robot replaces with the manual, which can be completed 3 tables of 63 tons workpiece transportation punching molding between punching machines and loading/unloading bars.
- Several types of the product and less batch in the single production; strong of the universal property of robot’s fixture; it is necessary to carry out the loading/unloading capture of the products with different appearances.
- The dedicated time of production: 6 seconds; the production capacity of assembly line: 350pieces/hour.

Troubleshooting:
- Two tables of RB08 transportation robots, two sets of dual-station flexible captures, automatic separated loading machine, unloading transportation line and 63 tons punching can be completed the centralized collection of the separated loading of raw-material, edge-cutting, molding production and finished-product unloading.
- The robot’s capture adopts the dual-station flexible design to adjust the positions of each absorber, which can be achieved the compatible of overall workpiece to grasp the loading/unloading.

Application Effect:
- It uses the design of the compatible flexible manipulator, which is resolved problems, such as the several types and less batch production in the same assemble line based upon the less manufacture costs.
- The robot operation is closely cooperated with the punching, and the operation is stable; it is mostly improved the production efficiency and reduced the running costs.
