Customer Requirement:

• Workpiece owns multiple cams and it can be completed the grinding for clamping once; 
• It should be automatically fitted the path and randomly performed the grinding based upon the lift-table; 
• It owns the medium maintenance, long maintenance and automatic trimming the grinding wheel and the automatic compensation function of the grinding. 

Troubleshooting: 

• It equips with the X/Z/C axis and the axis C is regarded as the index axis; using the G86 command to perform the random grinding; 
• X axis equips with the high resolution grating ruler to guarantee the repeated positioning accuracy of the machine tool and the consistence of product. 
• C axis equips with the round grating or using the servo motor with high resolution; 
• Using the PC application program that is separately developed by GSK986 to perform the fitting path of program-lifting-table.

Application Effect:

• Clamping and Completing the grinding of the whole cam shaft once instead of using the explorator grinding, and it is more flexible when shifting the workpiece; 
• The machining precision is greatly improved and it is avoid that the explorator machine tool cannot be controlled its accuracy due to the wearing of the mold. 
• The addition of the grating ruler is greatly improved the repeated positioning accuracy of the machine tool, and it is better for controlling the product consistency. 
• The wearing of the grinding wheel has a smaller impact to the precision of the workpiece based upon the medium and overhaul.
